Direct
network interfacing with CNC machines

This picture shows one of the first installations of the ABC- computer network at "PL Präzisions- Leiterplatten GmbH" (now "Straschu Leiterplatten GmbH"). The Network node interfaces the drilling machine via a standard RS 232 C- connection to the network. A cental computer thus controlled all CNC- machines and even the R&D- department was included in the network.
